JOANNE CLIFF
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Joanne was admitted to practice in the Supreme Court of South Australia and the High Court of Australia in December 1986 after completing a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in 1980 and Bachelor of Laws in 1985 at University of Adelaide.
Joanne joined Mouldens in February 1988 in the family law section for a couple of years and then the litigation department and was made a partner in 1991. For over 25 years Joanne has represented public hospitals and employed doctors in both civil cases and as counsel at Coroner inquests. She is also a member of the legal panel representing civils claims against all South Australian local councils.
About eight years ago Joanne recommenced practicing all aspects of family law including divorce, property and children’s matters for married, de-facto and same sex relationships. Her family law work is now the largest area of her practice. She provides advice in relation to and prepares wills as a result of family breakdown and divorce.
Joanne has completed collaborative law training and is a member of the Adelaide Collaborative Practice Group and the International Academy of Collaborative Practitioners. Joanne is a also a member of the Family Law Section of the Law Council of Australia.
